The London Diaries - Sunday

Thursday, October 09, 2014

Welcome back to my London diary! Let me tell you what me and my friend got up to on our second day in the city.

So after a good night's sleep Sunday was all about meeting our host families and friends in the afternoon therefore we had an easy going casual morning in South Kensington. We got our breakfast juices at the Good Life Eatery on Sloane Avenue and then continued walking round the pretty streets of the area eventually ending up at the Natural History museum. We had a good time there though I wouldn't recommend going on a Sunday as it was extremely crowded!

After a spot of lunch at Wasabi we went down to Balham to see our families and have a nice afternoon tea! It was so great catching up and seeing them all again and it felt so good being back again. Afterwards we had a stroll around the area and a nice walk through the Common before getting on the tube again and heading up north to Camden Town where we had a look at all the pretty stalls and promptly got some gorgeous rings as well.

Back in the old neighbourhood!

We had dinner at Comptoir Libanais that night and it was D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S. I could literally have this every night! We each went for the chicken kofte and shared some fattoush and olives and we loved it! Googling fattoush recipes right now!

We then spent the night walking along the Thames riverside from Tower Bridge to Embankment which was a lovely little walk!
